About Zion Mission University Hospital
During one of my recent missionary trips in 2012, in the rural community of Isoko, Ejigbo Local Government, Osun State in Nigeria, Africa, a young lady was severely cut in her heel and she was bleeding profusely. We could not find any hospital around. No ambulance service available anywhere, this further frustrated the situation. We had to transport her in my car. We travelled under very terrible roads conditions, which took us almost 2 hours to find any help.
The conditions in that hospital were terrible and below: no electricity, dust everywhere, unsanitary conditions, no first aid, no anesthesia was available and patients were screaming in pain. Our young lady was screaming very loudly while the doctor was sewing her heel without any anesthesia to numb the pain. This terrible experience has touched my heart. It inspired me to want help provide better health conditions in that area.
I shared the vision to the king, royal family, notables and the all community and also to my church in the USA...
God has touched the hearts of multitude and we are embarking to build an Ultra Modern Hospital in Isoko. The name of this hospital is Zion Mission University Hospital.
